This is a good book for children entering school. It is a big change in their lives and it will be fun for them to know ahead of time a little about what school is about. I think this is a good book for adults to read with children as preschool kids may be a bit challenged by a few words. I love the bright colors that will keep children's attentions and feel the author did a good job making that first day at school a little less scary.

This book is not what I expected. It is not just another book about helping prepare your child for school. Sure it is that, but it is also a different take on a memory book and it brings your child into the book. We like that it has places for photos to personalize it and areas to write in things that pertain to your child. It is a good read for Unlimited for sure.
'Won' this through librarything about the first week of April, and after repeated emails back and forth, never got more than links where to leave review, you know review of a book never got so never read. Repeated emails to them never got anything other than the same email back, with no link/s to actually download the book nor did anything come in the mail. {Haven't checked to see if on kindle unlimited, but they're not worth any more of my time messing with them.}
This 24-page book can be used to discuss what to expect the first day of elementary school. One page introduces a topic and the next page is a place for notes and photographs. For example, the “First day for my elementary schooler!” has two places to add pictures along with a place to enter name, age, and date.
